Singer Kelly Rowland arrives with a group of friends for a day at the beach and sheds her wildly patterned dress to reveal her fit, shapely body in a lavender bikini. Rowland enjoyed her Memorial Day holiday lounging with her friends and, in addition to having a bite to eat, took some time to greet some fans and even a passing dog. According to reports, Rowland and her trainer Jeanette Jenkins have been motivating their Twitter fans to get healthy and sexy for summer by doing Jeanette’s Bikini Bootcamp DVD every Tuesday and Thursday during April and May. Along the way, the two encouraged others to join the challenge and follow along with their workouts each week aiming to provide support and motivation to get fit. In addition to promoting fitness and bikini-ready bodies for summer, the program promoted Kelly’s new song “Motivation” along with Jeanette’s “Bikini Bootcamp DVD.”

ITV has confirmed that Kelly Rowland was chosen as the new judge to popular talent show X Factor UK!!

The 30-year-old had been rumoured to be one of the new judges on the hit talent show when it returns later this year. She will be replacing Dannii Minogue, who had to quit the show after the dates clashed with her other projects.

Kelly Rowland said: “I am so excited to join The X Factor UK and be able to spend time in one of my favourite places in the world.   The music coming out of the UK right now is incredible with artists like Adele, Jessie J and James Blake, so I’m confident this season of The X Factor will give me opportunity to hear a few diamonds in the rough.   Being a judge is never easy, but I promise to be as sternly honest as I can and also encourage everyone who crosses the stage.  I can’t wait to meet the world’s next superstar!”

She will join Irish music mogul Louis Walsh and Take That singer Gary Barlow.
